Sounding the drumbeat of God’s heart to the nations.
Here you will know all about us. We also want to get to know you better as well!

About Us

Khanyisa is a Nguni word meaning “ Go on being the light!”
We are an assortment of people from all backgrounds, ages and walks of life from around the city of Cape Town.
On any Sunday morning it is common to see young and old, rich and poor, Black and White;
all serving God together; and inevitably you will hear at least three languages spoken during worship.
We are multilingual gathering of people who speak isiXhosa, Afrikaans and English.

Who we are?

Khanyisa Community Church is a vibrant, cross-cultural church with a mission to bring people together from all different backgrounds.

Khanyisa finds its origins around 1990 when members of Jubilee Community Church in Observatory, Cape Town South Africa, worked together with leaders in Tambo Square
